May 18, 2005According to MelodicRock.com, Rock Candy Records — a brand-new U.K. reissue label headed by Derek Oliver and Dante Bonutto, both of Kerrang! fame (among many other things) — will be re-releasing RIOT's classic "Narita" album on June 20. Also scheduled to be reissued on the same date are HELIX's "No Rest for the Wicked" and ICON's "Night of the Crime" albums.
Rock Candy's reissues are remastered from original master tapes, contain original and enhanced artwork, 4,000-word essays, extra photos and 16-page full colour booklets. They state that their attention to detail is second to none.
The label will be releasing two albums a month from June onwards. Forthcoming titles include albums from DOC HOLLIDAY, BILLY SQUIER, CONEY HATCH and STORM. Nearly all of these will also feature bonus tracks.
